Oral Care

Oral health is a significant factor affecting an older person’s overall health and quality of life. Seniors commonly experience problems such as toothaches, tooth loss, dental caries, denture-related problems, dry mouth, gum disease, and sometimes more serious problems such as oral cancers. They are more likely to experience these problems if they are not able to attend to their oral hygiene regularly or effectively. In addition, some seniors may have a hard time brushing and flossing their own teeth due to physical or mental challenges and difficulties.
